Welcome to Pre-IB Science 9, also known as Pre-IB Chemistry. This is the first year we are teaching pre-IB chemistry in the 9th grade. We made this change to align with the district's revised science pathways. The pathways will be implemented district-wide within the next few years. Harding is beginning the transition by introducing chemistry along with earth science concepts and basic physics. As students taking challenge science in 8th grade move up to the high schools, the physics portion will be phased out.
