Graduation Requirements Subject Requirements: English: 4 years Social Studies: Class of 2009 - 3 years Class of 2010 and beyond - 3.5 years Science: 3 years (1 year must be biology) Mathematics: 3 years (must complete through Algebra 2 or IM3) Fine Arts: 2 credits (through the advanced level in one topic) Physical Education: 2 courses (1 must be 9th Grade Physical Education or equivalent) Health: 2 courses CTE (FACs/Tech): 1 course Electives: Class of 2009: 25 credits Class of 2010: 22 credits Class of 2011: 28 credits Class of 2012 and beyond: 29 credits Total Credit Requirements: 95 *Students coming into Harding from other schools may also have different requirements. By the graduation ceremony, students must: Complete all graduation requirements listed above Complete the 6 Year Plan on Naviance At least 2 submitted college or job applications documented in Naviance About Me section updated 2 interest inventories completed and documented in Naviance Regularly revise 6 Year Plan throughout high school Complete a portfolio Present the portfolio to a committee All obligations (money due, etc) must be cleared Students generally enjoy reflecting on their time at Harding by completing the portfolio and 6 Year Plan projects. In addition, the 6 Year Plan allows students a chance to think about future goals. Presenting the projects to the committee gives students the opportunity to share their accomplishments and goals.
