Celebration of MESA Student Achievement Stats – June 2006

2006 Graduating Senior Stats:

MESA had 15 out of the 36 students with a GPA higher than 4.0 (42%)

MESA had 11 out of the top 25 students in the class (44%) – Based on class rank

MESA had 16 out of the top 40 students in the class (40%) – Based on class rank

MESA had 21 students in the top 20% of the class

Entire 2006 MESA student stats:

Almost half have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA – (44%)

Almost 1/4^th were on the “A” Honor Roll both Tri 1 and 2 – (23%)

Almost 40% were on the “A” and “B” Honor Roll both Tri 1 and 2 – (37.9%)

Interesting stats for 2006 – MESA students:

Tri 1 “A” Honor Roll = 31.3%

Tri 2 “A” Honor Roll = 19.1%

Tri 1 “B” Honor Roll = 26.2%

Tri 2 “B” Honor Roll = 16.8%

A discussion about what contributed to the lower % in Tri 2 with students and staff would be helpful.
